General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Vegastars, located at Lange Voorhout 123, 2514 EA The Hague, and the client. By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Our salon offers professional beauty treatments and wellness services. All agreements are made under the conditions described in this document.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions. Changes will take effect upon publication on our website or written notice.

Reservation

Appointments can be made via telephone, email or via our online booking system. An appointment becomes final after confirmation from us.

Cancellation

Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours, we will charge 50% of the treatment costs. No-show charges 100% of treatment fees.

Changes

Changes to appointments are possible up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. We do our best to meet your wishes.

Payment can be made in cash, by debit card or by bank transfer. All prices include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

Treatment packages and subscriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused treatments expire after this period.

Price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance. Treatments already booked retain the original price.

When using gift vouchers, the full value must be spent in one go. Residual amounts are not paid out.

Eligibility

An intake is first made for each treatment to determine suitability. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is not suitable for your skin type or health condition.

Medical Conditions

Always report any allergies, medication or medical conditions prior to treatment. If there is any doubt about suitability, we will request a medical certificate.

Results

Treatment results may vary from person to person. We do not guarantee specific results, but always strive for optimal results with the best available techniques.

Our liability is limited to the amount of the treatment. We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or lost profits.

Clients are responsible for following aftercare instructions. If advice is not followed, this may affect the treatment outcome.

Additional information will be provided for treatments with increased risk and additional conditions may apply.

Damage to personal property in our salon will only be reimbursed if there is gross negligence on our part.

We handle your personal data with care in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will only be used to provide our services.

Photos before and after treatments will only be taken and used with your express consent for marketing and educational purposes.

We expect respectful behavior towards our staff and other clients from all clients. Inappropriate behavior can lead to refusal of service.

It is not allowed to take photos or videos in our salon without explicit permission from management.

For hygiene and safety, we ask you to adhere to our salon instructions and follow the advice of our specialists.

Complaints can be submitted in writing or orally to our management. We aim to handle complaints within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve it, the dispute can be submitted to the Disputes Committee or to the competent court in The Hague.

Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are preferably settled amicably.

If one or more provisions in these conditions are null and void, the other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These conditions are drawn up in Dutch. The Dutch version always prevails for translations.
